Yea once we figure out who all is going we should meet up before the show... well let me re-phrase that if we want to park next to each other, then we NEED to meet up before the show.

That place fills up fast and if we want a good parking spot (by the dyno stand) then we need to get there no later then 6:00am. Most people show up around 5-5:30am. The gates open up to the show at 7am or 8am, I forget which. Then the show opens up to the general public at 10am on Friday. We will be able to pick up our passes for the show starting Thurs afternoon, usually this starts around 12pm and goes till about 5pm. Although the details will come to you in an email or snail mail.

I would propose that we meet at the Perkins parking lot on Friday morning at 5:30am, and head to the show from there. I'll bring some caution tape and some posts to tape off our parking. This is a must if we plan to hold up the same area through out the show Fri-Sun.

I might possibly be able to make it over there for a lil bit on one of the days during the weekend, but definitely not every day. Sorry guys... I will def stop by and say hi if I can find ya'll tho. Peace

Well that is a long drive I'm not sure if it would be worth it... unless you plan to do other stuff while your up here. I mean after the show closes (I believe 8 or 9pm?) a lot of people going cruising down University Ave, which is already a hot cruising spot. There are 100's of people down there on any give Fri/Sat night during the summer months. However I won't down-play the show either its fun. Lots of stuff going on open header cruises, burn-out contests, awards, giveaways and lets not forget the bikini contest. There is alos a dyno on site, which attracts a lot of cars. If my memory serves me correct last year fo NA cars there was a car that put down 989RWHP and then a forced induction car that put down 1460RWHP that was something to see. Also there are a lot of venders at the show with concept cars, parts and more to show off.

Bottom line its your decision whether to come, but it depends upon how much of a diehard gear head you are on whether it will be worth it or not.

I've gone the last 4 years and I've enjoyed it.

Well hell if no one is bringing their Contour to the show then I'm just going to drive my Camaro and meet with the Minnesota F-body club. I'm not going to be the only Contour at the show. I don't know if work is really an excuse either, you guys knew about the show far in advance and could have easily taken off 1 or 2 days for the show . Hell you could probably still take it off as you would be giving a week and a half notice. I don't know why I bother trying to arrange things if everyone just backs out at the end, freak'n ridiculous.

So is there anyone that is bringing their Contour to the show? I might reconsider... I may bring my CSVT one day and park over with the SVTOA TC club if I am the only one thats going. My brother will be bringing his CSVT but only to sell it from the sounds of things either that or he will sell his spot to another guy I know with an F-body.
