Nope! you could have just got one of mine and then some Doublesided thich foam instead of cutting notches in the rear deck!

so you mean rather than notching it, overlap over that spot and build up the other side with double sided sticky tape?

ah yes!

There is like this foam crap you can get from home depot and just layer that around the mount to make it air tight.

But honestly it isn't really needed

Yeah thats been on my list to do, reground. I mean I did clean off the paint at least. What ground do you use?
