Aight, so I am thinking of upgrading my tranny internals hopefully kinda soon...I know that I could send it out and have Terry Haines do it, but I don't have 2 grand sitting around and I am going to need a car to drive. I just wanna know where I would get the parts from and how much it would run if I were to do it myself. I am thinking of just replacing the gear oriented stuff as of now. Like the gear sets...whatever they are called. I know this would be the ideal time to put in a Torsen but cash is going to be kinda limited. Does anyone know where to get the gears or if you can eve buy them? And if you can, how much are they going to run?

Have you rebuilt a transmission before?!!!! What kind of sealer do you plan on using? How are you going to set the diff. up? Also tell me how you're going to "split" the gear sets off the shafts? Why do I see a someone looking back and thinking $1500 is nothing for a correctly built trans.
