does it help to get ride of the secondary mffler when doing an exhaust

Stock, with no resonator and aftermarket muffler it won't be too loud.

Near stock, no resonator, 3" main pipe, 2.5" quasi dual Brullens. Sounds friggin' awesome.

Please get a decent muffler. Don't get some ricer piece of crap, or it will sound like crap.

Mine has the 2.25" pipe from cat-back, then it has the ANSA racing dual muffler w/3"tips, IMHO, I think it sounds awsome. I did have no res, but I got pulled over too much for noise pollution. The thing I love about this set-up is that people tend to think I drive a v-6. It is however a little raspy on first startup.

i ordered my muffler from nopi, its a remus it was $216 which seemed kinda pricy for just a muffler but the guy said that it would be best for what i want. im gonna do the piping too yousaid go 2.25

$216 seems a bit steep for a muffler but hey if you're willin to dish out the cash what the helll. Let us know how it sounds. Mine is way too quiet for my taste. Maybe that's because I can still hear my old '86 Mustang with 2.5" exhaust and 2 chamber Flowmasters droning in my head. The stock manifold/cat design in these cars are crap IMO. A header will net some decent gains paired up w/ a full exhaust and intake.
