a 70-series headlamp, a set of bi-xenon projectors and some D2S bulbs. Already have two QX4 highbeam projectors, one HID bulb, one Toyota ballast, two good Matsush¹tia ballasts and two questionable ones (one got a good dousing in battery acid the other got squished).

That doesnt count the two Matsush¹tias and D2S bulbs that are in the `96.

What could my next mod(s) be?

EDIT: Language filter.

Apparently Nissan fills the ballast assembly with silicone (or some other rubbery, non-conductive material). Cleaned up the one unit with some baking soda and gave it a go. Both work, one just isnt too pretty. Still need to find an ignitor to make it complete.

I'd look for some clear lenses to start with. Exposed projectors might look out of place on the R.

I was actually thinking of using some fluted plastic lenses off of a `80s POS and then sanding the fluting off over the lenses of the projectors below.

Are they glass or plastic? Either way, you could do that and polish them back out..... though plastic would be easier to do.

My lenses are fluted glass but the ~03-04 C70 had unfluted lenses that will interchange with mine. I was just going to use the plastic fluting to blur some of the mounting points for the projectors.

The wagon isnt the type of car that needs a modern, industrial look with all of the fasteners exposed....even though if done right it can look cool.

I may have found what I need! There was a listing for some UK-spec 70-series LH headlamp. I missed the finish time but sent the seller a question to see if he still has it. If he does, Ill be looking for, give or take, $35.

Its going to be even better if he has both lamps.

UK spec, that's left hand drive....right? Can you make them work for use on a right hand drive car (light pattern)?

Im not needing the housing to produce light, just hold the projectors. Those were a bust anyway, the seller was keeping them.
