lol, I like posting this every once and a while... ford small truck radiator fans were a big hit with the battlebot guys a few years back... they take crazy amounts of abuse.

if you want more power outta it, run it at 24v instead of 12v... they are more than able to handle the extra load [32v is about where they start to fail under continous use].

heres an artical I wrote a few years back on modifying the motors themselves [there also use to be a company that would custom rewind them... because for some reason the motors have 2 sets of windings, one for spinning clockwise and one for spinning counterclockwise... kinda stupid if you ask me considering the fan only spins in one direction... anyways, rewinding them you can effectively make it a unidirectional motor and double the number of coils available].
