I'm nearby, but have no experience w/ the 3L swap.
I'd like to help, but you may need someone w/ more experience.

Where exactly are you located. I'm in orlando, but only for a few more months. I have a 3L in mine. But when I pulled my old motor out, i had a lift and everything, made it tons easier. Let me know, i can help.

I guess I still don't understand what kinda swap you did in the zx2. I get the turbo part though. Best of luck with the swap. When you get it done, you can do mine next.

well i have looked under the hood of many ZX2's and always find a Zetec motor well i found one in a zx2 that had the gude turbo kit on it it was totaled from the rear and the hood was i guess slammed shut and no one i guess had opened the hood well i bought the whole car minus the rims which were sold prior to my arival of the boneyard and the motor said in all black 2.0 VCT "variable cam timing" so i took the ecu harnes and what not and went to town .. thats the swap i did on my ZX2 .. other than that after i did that i had 1 fast ass zx2 .. my buddy Aaropn on this site will vouch for my times and wins at Orlando Speed World...
anyway take care

I can turn a wrench, but never did a swap. Maybe helping somebody else out will boost my confidence when it comes time to swap mine.
Contact svttour. He has done many 3L swaps and is in the miami area.

yeah no worries anyone is welcome i figure im as central in fla as you can get so if anyone wants to see a 2.5 come out and a 3.0 drop in then come on over i'll invite some of my lady friends over to bring us drinks "beer" or whatnot to keep us well hydrated... anyway this will be going down in about 2 weeks and i prey it works out ...
