So I took the Evo to the track on Saturday. If I learned anything its the fact that snow tires don't hook, that explains my crappy 60ft time. But I had fun and beat my personal best by almost a second. Here it is:

Overall I'm pretty happy, next time I'll put on the Advans and try for that 1.6-1.7 60ft, hopefully I can get down to the mid-low 12's.

Believe it of not the snow tires probably helped your times. The AWD DSM's launch better when you can sustain a little wheel spin and not bog the engine. Well any AWD vehicle actually but the peaky 4G63 hates to bog.
Either way solid 12's are nice times run.

That's why I ran with the snow tires, last year at the track I bogged every launch. I was 70whp less than this year. This time it was total wheelspin/hop all the way through first gear. But I am happy to get into the 12's. Originally posted by DemonSVT:

I still say get thos Advans on and run again. Spinning through 1st didn't help you times.
