Depends on a lot of things....bring more than your estimate on what you need. Better safe than sorry.

Just think what you normally pay for lunch and dinner and multiply that by number of days. Don't forget drink estimates.
Calculate your mileage to and from and multiply by gas rate.
Look at list of events and calculate rough mileage in between events - tack that onto your gas estimate.
As was said, overestimate on everything, but when you're actually there, do your best to spend as little as possible.
Don't forget to estimate car wash expenses too.

Be sure to bring enough money. Heres a list of optional events you may want to do.

Optional Events:
Drag - $7 to watch, $20 to race
Go Karts - $5 for 5 mins, $8 for 10 mins, $10 for 15 min
Dinner at Buckets Sports Bar and Grill - Moderately priced (~$6-9 for a meal)

-May want to bring money for the raffle. The prizes are bigger and better than last year so you may be pretty tempted to win some stuff. $5 a ticket. Unlimited tickets are available. Trust me, I've got plenty.

Other things you dont want to forget.

-Definetely bring a change of clothes that you can wear to account for hot or cool days. It may get a little cool during the evenings depending on the weather.

-Sunscreen. Myself and many others got pretty cooked during the Show N Shine last year.

-Car detailing products. You may want to give your car a little TLC before/during the Show N Shine.

-A chair to sit in during the Show N Shine, dyno, etc.

-A camera or video camera definetely!

-Cash or quarters for a car wash.

Thats all I can think of for now.

Listen to the man. $20 bucks stole me some headers away from Alex by one number

Good advice. I'll be washing my car at a local DIY there the morning of S&S- can follow me there if you like. It's only a mile or two away.

As far as any new modding goes before travelling- ALWAYS double check and triple check your ride, even at points on the way there. Friendly suggestions.

Oh, one more thing. Never attempt the more challenging o2 sensor swap of them all while away on a trip.
