Well after a huge deal of cleaning and doing some aestetics to my UIM. I finally got it back... well the guy who tried to powdercoat, then polish seemed to have broke off the bottem hardline (underneath the throttlebody) does anyone know how i can fix this??? it is almost broke off flush.

any ideas? anyone have to replace this?

Junk yard should have the parts, I know Goonz replaced his about a mmonth ago when he broke his doing the UIM rebuild.

i believe that was one of the vacuum lines on top of the UIM, sounds like this is in reference to the PVC line off the bottom of the UIM

Drill it out and tap and thread in a regular brass 90�° threaded barb fitting.

i'm not going to drill it out considering the tube is way harder than the aluminum intake... going to taper a pipe and get it in very tight.

If you go that route, be sure to seal it with some JB weld or similar. That could be one hell of a vacuum leak if it came loose.

If you still have the UIM off can you try to push the broken part of the tube all the way through into the UIM then it can fall out through a larger hole.

The car would stall right away, so you know when it will fail.
