Guys, it has been fun. I am a better person for have met you all.

Christine & Ken... thank you, I wouldn't have my pre-98 antenna base and ford emblems without you guys.

Allen & MaryJane... you guys rock too. Always have been ubernice. It was always a pleasure seeing you guys.

Jason... thank you for all your help with my UIM/LIM Cleaning. It would still be clogged if I hadn't met you.

Steve, thanks for the use of your garage!

Brian... Was nice meeting you all those times. I wish the best to you and your daughter.

Chris... thank you for the STB and battery tie down. They werent the right color (different shade), but they work, and was an excellent price!

John... Thank you for everything, there's too much to list here.

Please note, this list is not all inclusive, and I am sure that I have left some people out. I am trying to keep this as low profile as possible... since I had to register a new name to post. I will probably be perma-banned from the site, and thats a shame. I understand the rules, but my ban was BS.

I will miss you all very much, as I consider you all my friends. I won't be at any future meets, Carlisle or SZ. I don't have the money for it. As it is now, I drive the car 1x a week with gas prices. If any of you want to contact me outside the forum (since I won't be checking in anymore, even when my ban is up... if it ever is now)...feel free to call me at 7179175091 or email me at dbw136@psu.edu. Its a shame it had to end this way. I'll catch you all on the flip side.

Doug

PS, mods, to make your life easier... you can ban this username "whatnow1", the one I made from my apartment that was ip banned from the getgo (rat3idea) and my old username (shinyredsport). I understand you gotta do what you gotta do.

Just do what I do Doug. I only monitor a few forums and read less than what's posted. This website is an exercise in mediocrity and I'm ok with that. I don't condone this site, it simply allows me to talk to friends.
I appreciate what Lance has done for us and I abide by his rules but still, I probably wouldn't miss this place if it was taken over by Russian spammers selling kiddie porn.

Oh yeah, in case I do get the boot you can reach me at john [dot] f [dot] preston [at] gmail [dot] com.

Doug,

Absolutely no reason to walk away from CEG nor from events to hang out with the people you have made friendships with. That's letting the bad side of CEG win - and that's a shame.

If you want to chat, you have my #.
