After doing the 3.o swap and getting everything dailed in I have no 1st gear.I mean you can physically move the shifter there and release the clutch & the car moves, I can then shift into the next which is 2nd but feels nothing like 2nd. The car feels as if its starting out in 3rd or 4th gear. Any one ever experience this before? Or anything similar?

Did you mess with the shift cable adjuster at the end AT ALL?

Sounds like you have 3rd for 1st and 4th for 2nd ... like you didn't hook up the cables with the tower & shifter both in Neutral

Which wouldn't matter unless you adjusted the cables unecessarily.

That sounds exactly like what my problem is. What did I do wrong, more importantly how do I fix it?
