Take deposits to cover material costs, or better still, put together the GB with payment in full required up front, then make a production run with little/no risk to you.

But PM me first, so i can be #1 on the group buy.

HEY!! I started this thread!! Back of the line you northern hi-jacker!!

I was first on the original list.

That's fine. Long as it isn't one of them tree huggin' freaks from Canadia.

Ain't that the truth! Boy I tell ya what, them crazy hippies with their long hair and smelly Volkswagens can go back to California where they belong!

What makes you think we want them?

Well that's where they came from, ain't it? I mean, shove 'em back where they belong; on the left side of the Mighty Mississippi!

Now wouldn't it be a dull world if we sent all the Oakies back to Oakie and all the Arkies back to Arky and all the Hoosiers back to Hoosie. If California can keep some from all the different groups, surely you can keep a few hippies.

Hippies don't fit in very well here anymore either. Berkley has become much more conservative and San Francisco has . . . well, lets just say drifted off some other way. The crunchy group just doesn't fit in much anymore.

I hear ya. I'm just glad none of 'em drive trucks; of course, none of 'em have jobs. That's what makes 'em hippies.

If they bolt up good then I'll immediately go to the group buy section and set up the rules I want to play by.

I still have some other little details to work out about sourcing all the bolts and spacers at hopefully a cheaper rate than I have right now but that won't stop production if I can help it. I won't do that until I know everything else is a 100% go.

Funny you should ask, I got a call this morning that the new test/proto brackets are read to check out. I couldn't get down there today, long day. I'll have to get down there tomorrow afternoon if everything goes right. I'll do preliminary checks to make sure they aren't obviously F'd up.
If they pass that test then I'll either make a decision to build or to get a test fit.
Let you guys know more tomorrow.

Well I got them and they look pretty good.
The lasercut is decent even though they aren't polished edges, but the method seems consistent, accurate, and should suffice.
It is the consistency that I care about.

I've tested the bolt holes and that all looks pretty good but I face the decision to produce them as is without another test fitting, or to send them out to one of the beta testers and have them testfit just to be sure.
I've bolted them up to my test hub and so far so good there but I don't have any 300mm rotors or calipers any more to check the swept area for the pads.

I personally would be happy with them the way they are because if I did run across a small fitment issue I could fix it...but there will always be one person who starts whining if they aren't perfect right off the bat.

Hence the dillema.
What do you guys want to do?
