Anyone have an idea of a time frame for the kits availability? I am doing the fronts only so I can just shift those back when the brackets are ready.

Im intrested in the completion date as well. The Cougar is almost road worthy and this would fill its OE 17s nicely (along with the FSVT kit).

On a different note, the regular donut spare doesnt fit the 280 mm rotors, does it? People might need/want to look for the SVT spare before there is a side of the road suprise. I recently picked one up for my car and was suprised at how light it was.

I try not to go OT too often... but since someone already mentioned the spare issue. Does anyone know if there's any place that sells aftermarket spares? I'd be interested in a lightweight and/or larger rim spare... but not full size (that's not very light). I probably spent 1/2 a day googling around and couldn't even find alternative spare tires

I would guess that the Focus SVT spare might work. I also wonder if the SVT and Cougar spare might work.

The FSVT donut's tire might be smaller then the Contour/Cougar spare. If the wheels are the same size, the standard Contour spare tire could possibly fit onto the FSVT wheel. I cant respond with what kind of setup the large brake Cougar came with as my car's previous owner removed it to save weight (maybe to help shave off some of the weight of the bodykit?). I grabbed the CSVT spare just in case either way.

As for finding one, Swazo has one for sale in the classifieds.

Has anyone tried fitting a full size E0 or E1 spare with a tire mounted in the trunk? That would be ideal IMO.

I am also interested in seeing the outcome of this. In need of new brakes soon and this is just what I'm looking for.

Just pulled the trigger on FSVT brakes, so I'll only be interested in the brackets - maybe.

Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.
