I like 12s some im planning on getting one 12" solo baric L5. will this Kicker 5 channel amp be sufficient? or should i go with a 4 channel and mono amp set-up? it says 210w to one 4ohm sub or 420w to a 2ohm. should i get a 2ohm sub? thanks in advance Originally posted by Tourgasm: Sometimes you can mess up a word so bad that spell check doens't know what the hell you're talking about.

1slosvt New CEG\'er 1 Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 46 davenport/iowa city iowa	that amp should be more than efficient enough as long as you are staying with the L5. the L7 12 requires alot more power. if you are staying with 1 L5 12" make sure you get a dual 4 ohm voice coil and wire down 2 a 2ohm mono load and you will be fine. i would also suggest if you are wanting some real boom go with a vented box on that sub. if you are wanting sound quality go with a sealed box
