I'm haveing problems deciding which component set I want to get. I have it narrowed down to two speakers. Either the MB QUART RUA216 6.5" or the MB QUART QSD-216 6.5". As of now I have a small 400W (62X2 @4 ohms 100X2 @ 2ohms) Profile to run them and my rear speakers. The reason why it's so small is becaise I fit it in the factory amp location. I didn't want to rewire my whole car. I just installed it yesterday and with just the rear speakers at full blast for an hour the amp didn't even get hot to the touch. I know that with about double the load it will produce more heat.... Later I may get another identical amp and put it under the centre console so I can create a "sweet spot" in the car and have individual amps run each set of components.

My question is is it REALLY worth justifying the 3X for the Q series speakers? I know I won't have the power to push them to there potential but I'm not worried about loud. My concern is the quality of the sound.

Thanks!
