A few weeks back when I heard about VA possibly allowing illegal immigrants to in state tuition I emailed a Senator George Allen and my local congressman too. I've gotten responses from both this week. Originally posted by From Senator Cucenelli, 37th District:

I can assure you that Senator Cuccinelli does not and would not support legislation to give illegal immigrants benefits that even citizens do not have. Senator Hanger�s SB677 passed the Senate with only 3 votes dissenting. Senator Cuccinelli was one of the 3 senators who voted against the bill. Despite passing the Senate, this legislation was stopped in the House, at least for now.
Senator Cuccinelli sponsored several pieces of legislation this year and last year which would make it more difficult for non-citizens to get benefits that should be reserved for citizens. This year, his SB313 passed the House and Senate. This bill would make sure that any person who indicated that they are not a citizen would be ineligible to vote, even if they registered to vote. Senator Cuccinelli�s SB629 would have made it much more financially risky for any business to hire illegal immigrants.
Senator Cuccinelli has also supported legislation to keep illegal immigrants from receiving the in-state tuition rates that should go to citizens of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

I will keep working to find a solution and consensus on this growing, important issue consistent with the principles of securing our borders, not rewarding illegal behavior and devising a legal temporary worker system.

Well,
I noticed that the illegals are taking our jobs. And Caucasions really WANTED to dig those ditches, wash those dirty dishes, work at McDonalds.

ever notice that there are not that many hispanics in the cubicle next to you!?! Or many OTHER immigrants? Remarkably homogenous. It is a good thing that the Conservatives have given tax credits to companies that export white collar jobs. Thank G*D I'ma Country Boy!

Wow... just wow...
Btw, where I worked over the summer for my internship there were plenty of hispanics, and asians. Also, the mcdonalds and wendies and arby's are all staffed by white people. Btw, sarcasm doesn't suit you very well. Oh well, I'm off to go salute the flag for a few hours.

Actually, if you take yourself out of major metropolian areas, such as DC you will see that the 'white guy' is out there digging ditches building houses, etc. In the metropolian areas illegals flock because the educated people (white, black, hispanics, indians, etc) are working the white collar jobs.
I'm so glad that the Left has brainwashed you and you, like many others, can not think for yourself...
In addition, your comment about saluting the flag, just goes to show the 'quality' of today's immigrant and where their loyalty stands......and I will salute the flag, as I have defended it for people such as yourself who really don't have a clue what they are talking about.
