I got my 3.0L in yesterday. After I took a closer look it seems that the nossle there is broken.

Do I get a new valve cover for the 3.0L?

Can I use the cover from my 2.5L?

Just wanted to get some help.

you do not use those....you use your 2.5L ones...and btw who skeeted on your motor!?

Is it just me or does it appear that the motor in that picture is the non-waterpump style motor. I don't see the extension of the cam for the waterpump drive in that picture. It could just be the angle, but I'm really thinking you've got the wrong motor if you're planning a straight 3L swap. On the plus side, if you need valve covers for the old style or new or a full set of 3L heads with the waterpump drive, I've got all for sale, drop me a PM.

It is suppose to be a 2001 Taurus Engine. I wouldnt know really how to tell the difference between, I havent gotten the chance to really look at the motor yet.

Do you have any pictures of what I could tell the difference is between a PRE-01 and POST-01?
