Last night I popped the hood and noticed my tranny was soaked in motor oil. Not good. I tried a looking for leak but had no luck can't find it anywhere. Now the top of the tranny is soaked, it's hitting my spark plug wires, and even seems to be reaching my short ram intake. Anyone have any clue where it might be coming from?

Recently I had the head done, nothing from the valve cover seems to be leaking, kinda seems like it's coming from a hose from the PCV, which was replaced, but not sure if that's it or not.

Need help please, it's killing me since my car has NEVER had an oil leak, and replacing Mobil 1 isn't cheap!

Clean it all off. Then run the engine looking for the leak.

Start watching oil level too see how fast it's going. If your not getting anything on the ground it not really that bad. I would inspect the valve cover gasket.

clean up the oil and put some uv dye in the system. boot it around for a hour or so and then break out the black light.

there is a oil sealer that works great it's from ATP. it's part number ATC-205.most auto value/all pro/bumper to bumper .

Bad on the dude, good on that you found the fix! Just make sure the new one is seated correctly. Sometimes good to let them sorta sit and at room temp to let them recover from storage. Hope the bolt holes r fine. Also look at the seals that go around the sleeve for bolts, might want to replace those also. Could be damaged from the over TQ.
