Started re-assembly of my 3L. Was putting in the pistons and I noticed a hairline crack on one of em. I didn't want to beat the hell out of it, so I took a piece of wood and placed it over the piston and gave it a medium sized hit and sure enough, a chunk came flying out. Good news is, I noticed the crack and it didn't go back in the engine...Bad news is...not I need a new piston head (or assembly). If anyone has anything laying around...drop me a pm.

ummm did you get it from LKQ...there is SOME warranty.

I have a set of low mileage used 2002 3.0 rod and piston assemblies, I will let go. Will not seperate though. Make me an offer.
