Shook the windows pretty good here at the office (Kearny Mesa), I thought it felt like an earthquake.

That's impossible. It's illegal for a civilian plane to go over Mach one over land.
But I do have a hunch that it is a military plane. Not necessarily from a base in the So Cal area, but a plane that may have flown around that area and returned to its distant base (training exercise).
You guys should see how many MOA's (Military Operations Area) are around SD. Especially in the areas south of San Onofre. Not to mention military training routes, both high and low altitude. I have an LA Sectional Area Chart (VFR flight map) that goes from as far north as Bakersfield to Northern Mexico. Bunch of areas, especially around SD.
Is my car for sale? PM me if you're in South FL.

I remeber when i was a little kid i was somewere in LA at the time, and i was riding shotgun in my moms truck and i looked up and saw a military fighter(looking) plane, and it was real low, and when it flew over us(faster than anything i had ever seen) i litarly felt the "BOOM" it was crazy. totaly overwhelming, Esp. being a little kid.

I experience that all the time at airshows. Go to Miramar Airshow this October. Kicking afterburner has a similar effect, though not as widespread or as sharp.

Still a Mystery Apparently I'd still say it felt more like an earthquake than a sonic boom, but who knows maybe it was aliens lol

Stumping everyone, eh? The military can deny whatever they want, but I still think it must have been one of their aircraft outside of an MTR (military training route) or MOA (military operations area). Only they would know what it is.
