as the title says, my first gear and reverse gear are having intermitant problem. I can not put it into gear. It is like there is a lockout on first gear. I physically can not put it into gear. Some times a double clutch fixes the problem. Some times if I start in 2nd, and double clutch/rev match into then it goes in like butter. some times it doesnt happen for weeks, and then it comes back for a week. My driving and the weather dont seem to have much of an effect on it. So if any of you contour gurus know what I can do to fix it, that would be great!!

Probably clutch not disengaging all the way, old and worn out maybe.

Ok... I might have to let my mechanic check it out then... well atleast its not the tranny *crosses fingers*

any recomended clutches? or just go with stock again?? I am just dd the car till I can afford a new car.
