What would happen to the performance of my 2.5L non-svt duratec if i hooked it up with the svt upper/lower intake etc? I wouldn't think too much, if anything, but I'm not really sure.

+1, For how much those parts cost you can pretty much find a 3L with low km's on it.

unless you get them for...$100 together, I wouldn't do it. It simply doesn't pay off enough to just use SVT UIM & LIM and spend hundreds of dollars on it. Now-a-day you can get headers for $200 and they have rediculously more gains that just SVT UIM & LIM.

oh well, I think it is worth it, I payed a decent amount for it all ...
and if you have headers you need to get the air into the engine as well as out to make power ...
