I would like to get my E0's powder coated a charcoal/gunmetal color. Does anyone know of a good quality shop that could 'hook it up'?

well - I know a place that does industrial powder coating so tough that we actually hammer formed an aluminum panel AFTER it had been coated and none of it came off . . .

Valmart (IIRC?) in Pleasent Grove or something like that - and they were relativly easy to deal with. But they dont do small orders - and have to slip your stuff in with someone elses big order - so depending on when and how much it could be a lot of money or next to nothing.

Ah ha, good idea. Now to see if Valmart or any other company is running a cool color anytime soon

I'd think a charcoal would be a popular color for various applications I'm not sure if I'd want to do black....

I'm looking for a similar shop. I'm thinking of getting mine done a bright silver or near chorme.

I went to put the 18's on last weekend and some idiot didn't clean them very well last fall. So, now the polished lip looks like crap. 4 hours with Mother's polish and 1 wheel still isn't done and I'm only doing the lip!

If they have a clear coat on them, you should strip it off first and repolish them. Once you have them looking good again, reclear them.

It may sound like a PITA, but it may be faster and give better results.

ok, so how do I strip the clear on the lip, but not the silver on the rest of the wheel?

really???????????? no way?!?

I would like to strip the clear on the entire wheel, not just the lip.
I'm gonna give the cleaning/polishing thing another try this weekend and see how it goes. Then maybe I'll look into stripping/clearing them.

I dunno - if your going to strip it- just strip it all off and start over is my idea.
