Um wow! I don't ever visit this forum and your title got my attention. That's amazing. Tell ya what, if you're unhappy with the performance of your Noble. I'll take it off your hands for you.

I don't know too much about it. I know they did open it up to swap in some titanium. http://www.nobleforums.com/showthread.php?t=990His car is not a drag car though; I don't think it's ever been to the strip. This guy is a SERIOUS track monster. He goes from track to track to track. I kid you not, he did like 30 track days in 3 months, and is doing many many more.

I am envious. I do wonder about the base plot. The tq & hp lines cross at near 5300 rpm. Weird that the boost pressure should come on so late with twin T28 fans... That was all fugged up...
Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

By definition, HP must equal torque at 5252 rpm, so the lines will cross there every time.
I don't think they've done any fuel tuning yet, nor played with the gain on the turbos too much yet. It should improve from here. However, they are GT28RS turbos, which are reasonably big for twin applications, with a flow capacity of about 350hp EACH.

"Well everyone, we have just completed tuning of Dereks M400GTRS for the 1Lap of America. Currently the car is dynoed out at 454.072 wheel horse power and 434.585 rear wheel torque."
I reject your reality and substitute my own.

I believe they're eventually going to use either a piggyback, or full Motec system. Once they get the built tranny in, the power is going to go up again.

i like the quote in the one guy's sig on that page:
"Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you."
