It did require something as far as the connection went, but I don't recall exactly what. I DO remember that I got the part I needed from radio shack. FavoriteMystaque Hard-core CEG\'er F Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 1,456	The ebay AntennaX one, I used for internal gears that fit the OEM motor. The whole unit itself would need some custom installation. You could use just a replacement mast Antenna masts on ebay , from dealer like Bill Jenkins or possibly e-bay. Sometimes the plastic tape drive breaks and you can replace the mast. You should go inside the gearcase and remove the old pieces.
