Contour Enthusiasts Group Archives Forums Branches New England SVT sighting...only my second

Was driving down Rte. 1, heading for Saco (Maine) downtown, and had just gone past Thornton Academy; when I saw a black Contour SVT with tinted windows. The car had Pennsylvania plates on it.

I pulled into the left lane so that I could get a better look at the vehicle. (the driver and his girl must have thought that I was nuts.) I've only seen one other SVT before this.

You should come to a meet someday lots of SVTs and generally each color represented!

Do you live close to Saco?
I have relatives near Portland. Been to Saco a few times.

I like Saco, Old Orchard Beach. Nice in the summer, my kiddies loved it.

I've been to Old Orchard beach a few times also. I like it there.

OOB was my family's choice vacation spot for many years of my life (from about age 7 till age 19 straight, with very few deviations). I enjoy it up there, though the unchanging scenery does stifle occasionally.

my parents go to Old ORchard every year for at least a week.

I actually live in Old Orchard Beach, right near the O.O.B./Saco border. O.O.B. had just the right kind of fun summer carny feel to it. Or, rather, it did. The town mgr. thought that it was more important to have a building full of $ 300,000 to $ 500,000 dollar condos put up where the Arcade used to be.

Now, O.O.B. is going to be turned into another yuppy playtown.
