Basically what the title says.

I took out a loan for $18K to buy this car, $16K for the car itself and another $2K for taxes on the car. Turns out I'm being refunded the taxes as this car is replacing a total loss vehicle (some thing the ins. agent does) I'm also selling the 12" type-R and the 7" Alpine touchscreen. That said I decided to use the cash for a good cause. Tires for summer, SVTF brakes from dnewma04, and I want to build a really high quality front end. That means 7" or 8" midbass, maybe some OWII tweeters and I may finally put my Neo8s to use. Suggestion welcome of course

Sorry I already have a buyer, my best friend has wanted to put on in his truck for over a year but I never have time to help him go pick one out.

Take a look at these, they do a great job on mid-bass. I would suggest you use sound deadening in the doors. http://www.edesignaudio.com/product.php?cid=16&cur=USD

I wouldn't recommend the eDs. They aren't effective up high enough to match up well with the BGs. The ascendant audio 6.5" driver would be a MUCH better match/

I actually ordered a pair of the Ascendant Audio 6.5" woofers. I'll be glad to post my review on them, compared to the Adire Extremis, and the Peerless CSX drivers.

Well, if you want a quickie review, i'll be glad to, with the Extremis vs. Peerless CSX

Extremis is much more airy sounding. Very nice response. Tight, accurate, and hits the lows better than any woofer i've heard til this date. Midrange frequencies are AWESOME. As i said, very airy.

Peerless CSX has a slightly more solid response. Not quite as airy, but still holds its own. Not as much low end as the extremis, but still definitely a contender amongst higher end speakers of "name brands" (as you already know). Smooth midrange response, but kinda bright. I had to smooth a lot of it out with my EQ. With the right tuning, sounds almost as good as the extremis.

Extremis = better
Peerless CSX = not as better
Poly 6.5 Ascendant audio = Not sure yet? I have my eye on that Le of .05mH and smooth response curve. 11.5mm xmax

Damn impatient monkey!
