My car had the air bag replaced when i bought it, and now the air bag cover, right under where it says SRS, is squeeking and coming apart, maybe like an 1/8 or 1/4 of an inch. How do i tighten it? THank you

i dont think any of them sit flush..mine sticks out, not enought to annoy me but its not flush against the dash

be careful, make sure you disconnect the battery and let the car sit for 30mins - 1 hour before doing anything, wouldent want the airbag to off by accident.

The screws/nuts or whatever are back there on my 96GL were loose on the "SRS" side... I could pull the airbag out about 1/4" on that side!

mine begin to be loose too since the last time i used the honk (i try to not use it often since its sound so fag)

Just turn the steering wheel 90 degrees and use a torx bit to tighten the screws behind the wheel. Mine did the exact same thing but not anymore. Its no big deal

i saw a airbag in a taurus go off while a guy was installing a cd player... funniest [censored] ive ever seen in my life... Every since than ive been scared to even touch them. haha

i know a guy who blew up 4 airbag in a BMW 740, i will have paid to see that

Does it make any difference that is the passenger one. My driver side one is loose too but it doesnt rattle...
