what did they really contribute to the 2.5L SVT motor ? were they really as involved as Yamaha on the SHO engine ? anyone got any background info so i can brag away !!!

While you are at it, you can get yourself a Harley V-Rod motor as well. Porsche "assisted" with the development of that as well.

Porsche designed a prototype V-6 that is similar to but differs significantly from the production Duratec. Not a whole lot to brag about from a porschefiles perspective, but a neat tidbit.

iirc they designed the engine to be a bit bigger like a 250hp engine but it wouldnt fit into the engine bay of the mondeo/contour so ford shrunk it. or so the story goes.
