I was just wondering what the symptoms were when the diff starts to go. I have a groaning sound when i make a right corner but i have already checked the wheel bearings and they are good. Today the car was groaning a little while driving strait. The brakes are new in all four corners. Thanks Tim

Well okay the spider gears in the diff only turn when making right and left hand turns. So they can and will sometimes make noise when turning. When you turn left though the right side gets the power due to weight transfer and that wheel has to travel farther.

Nice call on that. I didn't think it would be somthing so simple, I had already replaced the drivers side and had looked at the one on the passenger side when I had it apart. I guess I must have nicked it when I put it all back togather. Thanks.
