That 16.4 is what I would like to get maybe. Did you shift your car (it's an automatic but did u shift it like a stick) How do you launch? What was the weather like on that pass?

Leave it in Drive, manually shifting this car only slows things down. Turn off O/D, I beleive it locks up the torque converter at a higher RPM meaning you gain a little towards then end of the run. The weather was almost perfect, about 65 degrees, low humidity.

As for launch, you'll hafta play around with that. Always use the brake torquing method. I try to launch from around 2k, just before the brakes start to give... You'll want to nail the gas while you're letting off the brakes.

Well I'm no C4DE expert so take this at face value. Although I have worked on em....

I don't know if it's a clutch failure or a hard parts failure but if it were me I'd put it in manual low and shift like a standard trans. When you put it in manual 1 or 2 it RAISES main lin pressure hence longer clutch life.

Had the original trans in mine with the addition of a trans cooler.

Drove it like hell everyday.....manually shifted when racing.

Had 140k when I sold it with NO problems.
