i'll be attempting to install my weapon-r hearders & y - pipe on my 2000 csvt this weekend.

i've searched and found i'll need the following:

- 13 mm deep well socket
- 3/8 ratchet
- u - joint for the 3/8 ratchet
- socket extensions different sizes
- 27 mm wrench or cresent wrench for the egr
- 8 mm socket for the fan shroud removale
- oil filter removale tool
- oem exhaust mainifold gaskets
- pb blast or wd-40 & lots of it

will i be needing anything else ?

will report with noticed power gains once installed.

Don't even take the WD-40 off the shelf. No comparison to PB Blaster. If you can, spray all the nuts/bolts 24 hours before and let sit so it can work better.

is pb plast sold at pepboys or autozone ? where can i find this ?

liquid wrench rust remover is good too, spray it on the manifold bolts/studs, the y-pipe bolts, the catback bolts. Pretty much everything.

Make sure you have ATLEAST 2 feet of extensions to get over the subframe.

once i thought i saw that gear wrenches were needed.

bring 3/8 5/8 and 7/8,

Also i think you need a 14mm deepsocket not a 13mm one, i cant remember tho.

Also a 8mm socket for the Manifold studs.

What size socket for dis-connecting the Y (assuming he'll replace it)? 15mm?

15mm or 14mm

Bring both.
