After it was all said and done, the insurance co. gave me just over $6200 for the car, that included deducting my deductible ($500), deducting the amount of the buy-back ($430) and other stuff. The repairs cost just under $3400, which was surprising in itself. But, I ended up with some change in my pocket and I got my car back. It's all like new again! And yes, I will STILL baby it to some extent!
