Are you using a camber kit, if so, which one and from where? Are the updated plates from thinkmoto necassary? I'm trying to get everything put together for the suspension overhaul and I could use some help. Please dont trash this thread like the, SFK & KSK

I don't have a Koni kit but I thought I could clear up some confusion. From my searching I found that ALL the camber kits, whether they are from BAT, SPMotorsports, etc are made by a company called Specialty Products.

Im using the camber kit. Its the only one on the market for contours. I got it from BAT. Not sure if I really needed it or not but I had it laying around so I installed it to be safe.
The plates from Thinkmoto are not necessary. Ill probably get some eventually, whether or not I make them is another story.

I have the thick plates and they spin freely. My alignment does not change. The plates are there to hold the strut in under dramatic droop travel, and perhaps keep dirt out. They should not be tight at all, since they have to move quite a lot when you steer.

Auto-X Fil, So with the KSK do you suggest I get the camber kit and upgraded plates. Or just the kit itself?

I wouldn't use the camber kit with the BAT or Koni. Car can still be aligned within specs.

I tried the camber kit with upgraded plates and it didnt fit right. I would highly recommend the upgraded plates. The stock ones bend and deform when you tighten the nuts. I got rid of the kit and the car aligned into spec just fine. A little negative camber, but that is good. Tire wear is no problem if you rotate your tires and flip them at least once.
