ok..one day into the new rims and I feel the passenger side rear tires rubbing like a mother..only when I go over a deep bump..it appears the fender line is in the way..but having 225/45/17's, I didnt expect this to happen..I should just roll the sides up then I guess?

if it is rubbing the plastic wheel well cover just leave it alone. The plastic will rub away over time. If it is the metal lip of the fender use the FAQ for how to roll it.

you dont think it could be the fender cause it is awfully close to the tires..it peeled a good chunk of the rubber too..I was pissed when I saw that when I got home..

me too.... look at the bumper mount tab - sometimes it is bent towards the car and will cut your tire like a hot knife through butter.... I had that then bashed the tab out.

i have 225/45/17 also and i had the same problem. it was actually rubbing on the metal and i could see a small line around the tire where they had rubbed while moving. i rolled the fenders and i havent had any problems yet. i didnt expect rubbing either but i guess it has to do with the offset.
