ok i just got my car back on the road after it being broken down for about 5 months and my radio comes on and cuts off at will...like if i hit a bump it will cut off...it seems like the problem is at the fuse panel somewhere because when i hit the botton to let the fuse panel down it will cut on sometimes...so im thinking there is a loose wire but i was wondering what color wire i should be looking for....thanks

The wire coming out from the fuse panel should be Blue/Brown to the radio.

I suggest checking fuse 32 or fuse holder, then speakers or speaker wires to the radio (brown/yellow and white/black for front, brown/white and white/violet for back).

the fuse is fine if it wasnt then the radio wouldnt come on at all...thanks for the color wire info ill go check it out tomorrow....thanks again

another idea is to pull your dome light, somehow the power wire on mine got stripped down and was shorting out, that fixed my cut-out problem.

pulled the dome light no luck....how many wires should be hot going to the radio with the key on...i only have one wire hot and its orange/black...thanks

you have one with power without the key, one more with the key on and one more with the headlight on only.
