So, you can swap a Taurus 3.0L into your Tour, but what about a Jaguar 3.0L? Is there something completely different about them or what? I've thought about this for a few weeks. And by a few weeks, I mean days. Hah. Would it work? Or no? Good idea bad idea? No comprende? Aye-yi-yi...

Cams, really the entire valvetrain, are different. The direct-acting buckets of the LS/Jag 3.0 don't have any real advantage over the standard 3.0 valvetrain. The lift on the Jag/LS cams is lower than that of any 2.5 or 3.0 stock cam set.
