OP Horse_dup1 Hard-core CEG\'er H Joined: Jun 2001 Posts: 4,777 Cobra Heaven	thinking of trying to get a job out in WI - specifically Oshkosh/Appleton area (girlfriend - prob future wife is form madison) and wanted to know local laws on smog etc. Does WI have emissions? I guess the last poster has bad accounts with them or something. I've been driving 5 years, 2 with my SVT and i've yet to recieve a ticket. I live in racine county too...which has like 70k people in it. so i mean...it varies place to place. its like, dont drive recklessly and fast where you know a cop will be. roads that have farms or like...are away from town, there ya go, open her up. common sense will save you from having to worry about [censored]. 2000 Contour SVT SF - #542 of 2150

The Cougar is about as obnoxious and loud as you can get in looks and they normally leave me alone as long as I'm not driving like an idiot or asking for trouble.. But then again they probably run my plate immediately and see that it belongs to a 35 year old woman.. LOL When it was in primer I used to get pulled over though, I think they just assumed that some young kid owned it and my registration had to be incorrect. Long Answer Short = Madison has ZERO emissions/fog testing and is a great place to live.
