so i have a logitech Z5500 digital surround sound for my computer and the sub is blown, so i put a 10" pioneer 800 watt into it and should i wire it at 8 ohms or 2 ohms? heres the specs on the speakers, i wont be able to even try it for another week because their sending me a complete new set, but i had to send the control pod in for fraud purposes and i havent received the new ones yet.

The speaker you took out had no specs on it at all? Go for 8ohms if your going to do that. 2ohms is almost like sticking a plain wire across it, unless the amp is built to handle that (car amps only) your computer speaker amp mostlikely want 4-6ohm loads 8 will be a little more, just don't turn it up all the way or you could blow the output transistors/IC in the amp driving the sub.
