...for multi-pistion rear caliper upgrades. just thought i would ask if this is at all possible for a contique. all the talk over rear brake conversions i thought i would see if others have heard about this type of caliper. "the only calipers with internal handbrake"

handbrake calipers

Looks really nice but I wonder how the cabling hooks up? I'm sure it would work with conversion but it wouldn't be simple and you have to get all that brake bias figured out again.

It certainly could be made to work.

The cable mechanism looks fairly std, with a stay mounted to the back of the caliper for the outer cable, and the lever arm to pull for the inner cable.

Yeah they're nice, but that old nag of $$$$$$ keeps popping up every time I look at them.

but would it be worth it do you think?? i mean they do look sweet imo, but could you just use the caliper with a oem rotor or a oversized kit, such as TCE's? i think i just might want to try this whenever i can afford a multipiston set-up for the front.

Not worth it for any performance benefit, at least not within the confines of how any contour here is ever used.

For a little bling, then yeah, I can see that.
