Do you know how to join two wires using either solder or crimp joints? You have to be able to do that eight times, cut wire and read English.

My experience. The installation of the MILeliminators will probably be the best and easiest fix you can do for your Contour. $30 for a pair (free shipping from www.mileliminators.com). I took 1 hour 15 minutes to do both lower O2 sensors.

1) Drive the car up rhino ramps (or jack up and put on jackstands).
2) Disconnect negative terminal of battery.
3) Unhook connectors for both lower O2 sensors.
4) Unscrew both lower O2 sensors (7/8 inch crescent wrench or 22 mm or get the O2 socket wrench). Don't drop the O2 sensors. They are very sensitive.
5) In comfort of kitchen table, cut and splice Mileliminators into lower O2 sensors. You need wire connectors to join wires. Then tape up with ......duct tape (to prevent dirt and water from getting in it). Instructions on how to and where to splice come with the mileliminators.
6) Install O2 sensor back, reconnect battery terminal. Drive down ramps and you are done.

Getting the EGR bungs can be kinda a PITA, why do you need MIL's anyway? are you doing headers?
