I have been reading and did a search without being able to find my answer.
I am about to buy a set of of springs eibachs-front, h&r's-rear, I was just curious if a 225/50R15 will fit without rubbing, or would i be better off to go with a 215/55R15 tire, I am going to be running stock rims.
Thanks in advance
Jamie

The 215/55R16 won't fit. It is too tall. The 99 and newer SVT tire size is 215/50R16.

Someone else will have to answer about the 225/50R16 with lowering springs, but they work fine on my stock hieght 98 SVT E0.

hey jim I only have 15 inch wheels, so that will give me an extra inch of clearance so I think I should be fine I hope, but would really like one of the wheel/tire experts to give me there advise.

Maybe I need to learn how to read.

Anyway, this may help:

I suspect that you may still need to hear from others that have already done this.

thanks, if you where able to run those i should be fine with 225/50r15, since my overall diameter will be shorter with the 15 inch wheel.
thanks again
