The crossover pipe that was in my SVT engine had two different type coolant sensors in it. The one who's pigtail faces the firewall is a two prong type and the one that faces the driver's side fender well is a "post" type. Well, I cracked the crossover removing it from the heads during the teardown of the SVT engine. I have misplaced the crossover and I fear that I may have discarded it

So, I'm using a spare crossover I had from a Cougar, which has both sensors with the two prong pigtail. So, I need a "post" style sensor. Anyone know the part number???

Here it's in my wallet. Call Jenkins. Or take your sweet arse down to the parts store and ask for a coolant temp sensor.

It took me about 10 minutes to have the NAPA guy look one up for me. Just start comparing and contrasting to the older year models.

Look at my profile and where I live ... asking people around here their name is like giving them a pop quiz. If I don't have a part number in hand, I can expect to spend a minimum of 30 minutes at the parts counter

My coolant level is at its max but the radiator light is on in the cabin all the time. No inclines or parking on steep hills. It always stays on. The resivour is fairly new would i have to replace this sensor?

P.S. I just noticed a coolant leak probably coming from the tubes near the oil cooler but this has no effect on the coolant light in the cabin

Any thoughts nope im not highjacking.
