I was wondering if someone can tell me why this motor is so cheap? I found it on LKQ website...

Also what makes the escape engines another $200+ more than the taurus motors?

Probably because it has close to 60k on it. Pricing just depends on what that yard thinks they can get for it. If you toasted an engine in your Escape what kind of engine are you going to replace it with? Spend a couple hundred more for an engine with 20k or $300 on an engine with 57k?

Yeam, prolly cause it has a good amoutn of miles on it. I bought my 03 Taurus Engine from them for a little over $300 and it had under 7,500 on it...Maybe I got lucky, but it looked good on teardown
