Since I've been getting my new engine and turbo system ready for a final tuning, I've only been running 3.5 psi.
I've also been having problems with my intercooler pump..... not pumping coolant. Now that I have relocated the pump and it's actually working well, I am VERY happy with how well it cools!

I don't have any data on the actual temps yet. Once I got the system reworked I went for a good hour of putting milage on her.
Once I finished up and was letting the car idle with the hood popped, I felt the UIM and the IC It was actually cool to the touch, which impressed me. The side of the IC before the core was hot enough to make me quickly pull my hand away.

I know this may sound like a no s#*$ type thing, but I thought it was pretty cool

did you up the boost at all after you changed everything around?

Just so you know how to do it and have something to reference your measurements, I searched up this old thread that everyone forgets and that people periodically ask about.

Intercooler efficiency measurements

No bump in boost yet, I'll be doing that at the dyno shortly

Thanks for the link to your post War, I'm going to find it handy when I finally do get a dual IAT gauge. I'll only be able to see what the engine is actually seeing until then.

You just need a thermocouple of some sort to put the wire in under the clamp at the turbo discharge tube.
They have cheap ones or if you have a min/max recording meter with thermocouple attachment, or digital thermometer it will work.
