Just so there is no confusion from the previous post. The meet is 11:00 am Saturday March 10th. At the Mcarthy Ranch Wal Mart in Milpitas.

Respond if you will be there.

p.s.
I will have another batch of N. California CEG stickers $4.00 had to put a price on them since I had to buy more silver vinyl to get them produced.

Marshall C: I think a drive would be cool. As long as the rain hold off.

Christopher: If you want to bring any of your mods we could at least see what they look like, since most of us only see pictures.

Saturn: Bug Toadster and get him to go, he is due for a meet

Toadster: Hope you can make it.

Chris: We're all excited to see/hear/feel the y pipe.

Josh: sounds like you have done quite a few aesthetic mods since the last time, should be cool.

I've got sample chips from discountdash.com of the different dashes they offer also for you guys to check out.

Banger: Glad to see you're keeping the Tour. I'll bring the Video camera to do a little taping Satruday.[This message has been edited by Coors (edited March 05, 2001).]

Being the moderator of our little corner over here, don't you think its about time you show up to a meet
For all we know you don't even drive a 'tour, you just track our numbers with that crazy little list of yours
And besides, Saturn needs a ride

ok coors I will see if I can map out a drive. I will try and keep it small but fun. Hoping it does not rain. also if any one has any two way radios that would be great to use for any drives or meets. I checked this out for you guys and well it is perfect I found some that are the same as what I have and they are a generic to the motorolla talk about, they work with almost all of the two ways on the market and they are on sale right now at the walmart in mcarthy ranch for 19.95 they have a two mile radious and they are perfect for the drives in order to keep track of each other. If you have any please bring..

I'll bring my Digital Camera, and i'll try to scour up some radios.
I have a video camera, but I dont have a way to transfer it to the computer. I'll have to look into that.
Chris, wanna compare y-pipe vs. catback in a fun run?

Forcast does not look good. a storm front is supposed to hit friday and rain saturday. hopefully they are wrong.

I wouldn't mind going on a drive but nothing too twisty....my suspension is blown and koni/Eibach setup is on order. Should get it next week.

chris-
it doesn't matter. Full lot or not you're doin it You gotta show everyone what a tour is made of. And now that you got those springs on you can have even more fun
Of course their is probably no need for such violent acts of fun, but it'd be an awesome part of BB's SVT video. (Take a hint BB )

Warning to all my peeps!!!! ok folks I am going to give you fair warning.. The cops in Milp. DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT like us. they do not like any racer group, car groups, I will gurentee that if we make the slightist bit of noise out there at walmart they will bust us and they will pick on every little thing on your car. M.Law and I live out there and we have seen it. They try to go by every damn law in the book. I have even seen them wait for two of the same kind of car to leave and just cause they ar driving next to each other they give them a ticket for racing. This is is just an FYI for the folks that are not from the area I really dont want any one to get pissed and leave cause they got a ticket. It is like this we show up and we all meet. We hang out at walmart for an hour or so to make sure everyone gets there and then we take off to find a place to play. I am working on that right now. if the weather is good I have a realy fun rd. to take. If the weather is so so well I am sure we will figure somthing out. But please for your assuranse that you will have a good time on sAturday don't try and make any burn outs or fast starts or I am sure you or the next guy might get a ticket.

I can seconf that. I've been messed with by the Milpenis cops more than once. They are total pricks. I work in Milpenis, so I drive VERY careful. Posted speed limit all the way. I've been pulled over for nothing more than having a lowered car before.

Man!, I'm really wanting those koni's/Eibach's to hurry up and get here. aaaagghh, at least I'm not waiting til April 20th, haha...just snuck in there with my order.

We did not have any probs with the cops last meet. They even had those dumb focus guys doin burnouts and racin themselves in the parking lot and they didn't attract the cops just parking lot security. Us Fedex drivers tear up Milpitas and we never have any probs with cops.

Pick up some blue wire connectors (I thnk they are for 16 gauge wire) from your local hardware. and maybe some male/female connectors for the speaker wires 8 total speaker wires so you are able to unhook them if you want in the future. I have "U" cut coathanger in my glove box already so don't worry about that and will bring some wire crimpers and electrical tape to help you out.

M. Cal don't even trip providing it is not raining I plan on this one road and it is hella fun and I have drivin it before and had no probs. and I drive on the stock susspention in my GL so I know no mattewr what you will handle better then me.

Stinger: and others I didnt get to go to the last drive so I didn't get to see the fucus's but I am sure they were just lucky. I swear everytime I go there I am followed by some cop or sequerity guard. No biggy though if you guys want to drive all crazy and take your chances no biggie.

all I am down for where ever for lunch. I don't care where.

as far as the weather goes I watched the weather report last night and they said if it rains at all it will be very little and only in the morning. SO if things go well it looks like we will driving!!!!!

Just the box, or the box and the subs, or the box and subs and amp?
Box- 40
subs - 100

I just got the amp like two weeks ago, and don't really want to part with it yet. If its a must have though, it's yours for 149.

I'll leave em in for the meet so you can hear it thump. My girl likes it a lot, but I dont need all the bass, and I'd like some more room in the trunk.

Yes 8 male and 8 female. unless you don't plan on ever disconnecting them we can use the blue connectors all the way around. It's just a little more conveinient if you want to hook up an amp or something to the door speakers later on. Your choice.

hey I was just noticing that vcontoursvt says he has 9005 blues in the low and whatever in the high. The reason I am trippen here is I thought that contour was 9006 and I know those fit and that is what they say to get when I go to the parts store, yet you say 9005... is that possible to have in your car? is it ok to have those in there? do they work better then the 9006's. I am just wondering cause I have found that the 9005's are the ones that I just put in my dads SHO and I didnt know those would fit in the contour..

forgot to ask you, when you say that you have a wiring harness is that the one for the radio and amp or just the radio? We may need some extra wire to run from the radio to where the speakers hook up with the amp. There is about 1.5 foot gap between the radio and where the speaker wires are behind the glove box. So maybe a some 16-18 gauge wire to run inbetween. I think that is it.... sorry I just keep remembering what I needed when I installed mine. See you Saturday.

If its raining, I'm scrubbin.
If it is not raining at 10am then I'll wash it but not detail it.

And if we are going for a drive I would suggest taking your crap out the car so its not flying all over the car durinig turns...

marshallc:
9006 are the lows, 9005 are the highs.
to get more light output i used the 9005 in the lows, by modifying the tabs in the socket of the bulb. it gives much more light, and only cost me $24.

coors:
if i get the wiring harness from good guys for a ford premium factory sound system, would that be right (i wouldn't need the 16 gauge wire)?? (im going today)

so heres what ill bring:
1. the hu in box w/all manuals/ etc.
2. 8 male/female connectors
3. blue wire connectors (for 16 gauge wire)
3. ford premium wiring harness from good guys

should i bring anything else?

i want to do the 885 50w fogs and then the 9005 in the lows.

does anybody ever flash you? are you using the stock bulbs? 65w is the standard high beam right?

thanks,

I'm all over the SC or 3.0L in a few years when this becomes my fun car to play around with.
I love the look of the clear corners on the car but everyones how-to is a little much, prying cutting, drilling, glueing.....I dont trust my skills yet for that job.

If I have to work late...I worked from 9 am till 3am Wednesday....I may come scrubbin, will try and get a quikkie wash at the Shell if so....if not...I'm paying like $10 at the car wash.

See you guys tomorrow.......damn Mystikal guess I better leave all my goodies at home.....dont want nothing sliding around the trunk on the drive!

Marshall......fun job I am an accountant for an accoutning firm.

Damn, one of my college jobs was collections, I would call 90 yr old ladies up and harass them for money they owe the hospital for there hubbys heart attacks.

A job I am so glad I no longer do, was fun for about a week but then it got real old.

Enjoying your job is the best!

chris99svt: i would be happy to show you my bulbs and how to mod yours. its really not that much actually, just shaving some tabs on the socket. we can do a comparison in whitess/brightness etc. too! Also id be interested in meeting somewhere in the morning and then driving down. ill check here or you can email me at: salmaula@earthlink.net

i live in belmont
