Going down the highway there seems to be quite bit of wind noise. Its not unbearable by any means, just annoying. Strange thing is that its coming from the b pillar right behind my head, and I asked a passanger if he heard some by his head and he said no, but I havn't ridden there myself to confirm that the really is none. What I'm saying is why is there wind noise by the b pillar of all places? if its just the drivers side, what could be causing it? the gap between doors? the door seal is fine, I will mess with is some but I'm pretty sure thats not the problem. Have other people found the same thing, and its normal for these cars, or is it just mine? I'm going on a 2000 mile road trip and want to fix it before then if possible. I'm considering the redneck way of just putting some tape over the top of the doors and see if that makes a difference. Any ideas on what I can do?

chances are the door seals are not fine, not on a 95. sure they are not torn or ripped but they will not seal as well as new. you can either get new seals, or try to figure out where the leak is and build it up to seal it to the soor again

Take a dollar bill or other thin paper, close the door over it and compare how the gasket grips between the sides. You might have to put some foam rubber behind the gasket or adjust the door latch. I find the wind direction relative the car affects how much noise there is, as well as speed .

my 99 with 9???? miles was pretty quite other than the exhaust but my 2k with 82??? miles has the exact problem you are talking about. upon examination i discovered that while the door seals don't appear torn or ripped they do appear worn much like an old seat. i can't imagine the parts would be expensive so you might as well do all four doors. my question is, does anyone know if there is a better (read: more effective at keeping out wind and road noise) option than stock replacements?

stock replacements are not that expensive, I think they are about 40 to 50 per door and abou tthe same for the weather seal, and all just press in

Go around the door seals and push them all down. Usually that fixes the problem.

heres a easy way to tell were its leaking, turn your hvac on full tilt, make sure all doors and windows are shut tight, now take a stethoscope and run it around the door or window seams, everytime you find a spot that leaks, mark it with a piece of tape, could be your doors need to be realinged, hinges get old and wear, same with the hinge on the b pillar,or the gaskets are worn, may not appaear to be worn, but softer which would be less likely to seal tight

Allright guys, sounds good. I was hoping it was something this easy. Ill push in the seals and if that dosn't work then just replace them. thanks for the input.

Through Bill J. they are about $60 shipped for the pair. Mine ripped this winter, and I bought new ones. Haven't installed them yet, but there's the price for ya.

well just to be clear there are two different seals I was speaking of. There is the one that seals the door to the body and one that runs up over bother doors. I would try changing the ones over the doors first.
