I think thats actually high for an engine w/ so many miles on it. A lot of people find Taurus engines (yea i know thats an escape engine) for under $500 with low miles. Mine had under 7500 miles and i paid a little over $300 for it. 03' Taurus. Keep shopping...you can find better prices. 2000 Contour SVT SF - #542 of 2150

Knuckles rebuilt w/new bearings $55 AUSSIE ENDLINKS $70 Gutted pre-cats $80/set A lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine!
