VIR is to far away for me to drive but web page isn't. They have a Friday at the Track session for $225/$235 in March and again in April.

It's open track, no pass in the corner , balls out on the straight. Instructors ride along for 4 20 minute sessions and you also get skidpad time in their vehicles. It's 2 run groups per session of 45 vehicles each. There is an 8:15 and 10:15 session.

I asked if SVT's can go out in street form and was asked can it pass a state inspection. If it can then all you have to do is make it past tech and you're golden.

Anyone interested?

No I will not do it. I am afraid that I will like it to much and I am trying to keep myself to one motorsport hobby and autox is it for now.

The miata will never be track ready because I refuse to have all that high weight in it.

Last year I did a few sessions in STS. Although I can't run STS legally, they said it only matters if I become competitive. I was just reading the new rule book trying to figure out where I should be and I'm thinking STX or street prep. Mainly because of the subframe connectors and soon to be a coilover setup.

I'm going to try for the 3 level school too. Signed up for back up on the level 1. Forgot to signup yesterday when it opened.

Is this in the SVT?

I need to know more about the subframe connectors but IIRC some one was saying those are not legal in any class below street mod.

It was in the SVT. I asked about it last year and they were saying ok. New season and new rules so I don't know. I didn't see anything yet about connectors good or bad. I'm sure though that if I were competitive against the civics and accords then they would have said something. I obviously don't have to worry about that. I need to learn how to drive better.

I'm up for a FATT. Did it a few years ago and had a blast. Might want to finalize the date now, though, due to popularity of FATTs.

well I'm running into snags at the moment in the startup of my business. May have to dip into the personal/SVT funds a little more. Again. We'll see by Friday.
